2019 Spring Rally

May 17–19, 2019

Lake Geneva, WI

Hosted by: Dick & Jackie Homan and Grant Benjamin & Susan Pribyl

The picturesque town of Lake Geneva hugs the shoreline of the lake where our host hotel is located. Given the geography of the area, our routes will have some hills adding variety and beautiful scenery. We have chosen short routes that minimize hills and medium routes with some moderate climbs. We are planning a variety of routes to match your early season fitness and preferences. There will be two rides options on Friday (15 or 30 miles), a selection of short, medium and long routes Saturday as well as two route options on Sunday (18 or 30 miles). Plan now to join in the fun.

There are two hotel options: Harbor Shores (host hotel) and Comfort Inn & Suites (1 mile east of Harbor Shores).

Harbor Shores (host hotel)

They are holding 55 rooms for us on May 17 and 18. We have 40 Lakeview rooms and 15 Parkview rooms that have all been renovated since our last visit 6 years ago. The Lakeview rooms are $159 per night and the Parkview rooms are $129 per night. A continental breakfast is included. They will allow us to bring bikes into the rooms. These prices are good thru April 17th. Call 262-248-9181 or 888-746-7371 and mention the Cows for tandem rally price.

Comfort Inn & Suites

They are holding 15 + rooms at the Comfort Inn & Suites for $139 per night which includes a hot breakfast. The Comfort Inn & Suites is located about 1 mile east of Harbor Shores and is on Route 50. Call 262-248-2300 and mention the Cows for tandem rally. These prices are good thru April 17th.

Banquet and other information

We will be using Celebration On Wells for our annual meeting & banquet Saturday. Celebration on Wells is a short walk from Harbor Shores.

Cocktails begin @ 5:30 (cash bar) with a Buffet dinner at 6:30. Price is $30 per person and payment must be made by April 30. Please note that we also will not be able to process any refunds after April 30.

Our buffet menu includes appetizers (cheese with crackers), salad, roasted Tuscan style veggies, fresh new roasted potatoes, pasta du jour tossed in olive oil / fresh herbs and dinner rolls. The two entrees are Athenian chicken (roasted with lemon, thyme, garlic, and oregano – gluten free) and roast sirloin of beef. Dessert is mini cheese cakes with berry compote. We will not be offering any meals for special dietary needs and so we are including the full menu so those with special dietary needs can see what they will be able to eat.
