MIDWEST TANDEM RALLY - MTR 2012

The Couples On Wheels (COWs) are proud to host the 37th Annual Midwest Tandem Rally (MTR 2012) in Middleton, Wisconsin which is in the south central part of the state.
Middleton is part of the Madison metropolitan area. It is an execellent location for MTR starting with the community's heritage and affinity for cycling of all kinds. Travel to the area is easy and convenient whether you are from Wisconsin, Nebraska, Illinois, Ohio, or anywhere in between. The area is blessed with varied and beautiful scenery, award winning facilities, a wide variety of independent restaurants, and with an abundance of free and low-cost events including the “Taste of Madison” on the Capitol Square over the MTR weekend.
HOTELS
The host hotel will be the Marriot Madison West near Madison, Wisconsin. The Marriot has blocked 225 rooms for the event. A group rate will be $99.00 per night for a spacious room with two double beds or a king leisure room. Mention “MTR 2012” when calling 1-888-745-2032 or use the group code mtrmtra if reserving on-line to receive the special MTR Group Rate.
Please note that bicycles are not allowed in the gest rooms.

REGISTRATION
MTR Registration does not include lodging. Please make a reservation with the host hotel or lodging listed above.
We will be taking on-line registration through Active.com
Registration by mail can be made by printing the form from this document. With registration you will recieve lunches, Que sheets, SAG support, and rest stop support.
Register early as our cost will increase as we near the event. Registrations Fees are shown in the table below.

MERCHANDISE
There is event specific merchandise available such as VO-max Jerseys, T-Shirts, Dry Shirts, and License Plate available. These will be availably through July 6th, 2012. We will not be able to accept merchandise orders after that date. The details for the merchandise can be found on the Registraion Form.
BICYCLE STORAGE
A 24-hour secure bicycle storage facility will be offered in the host hotel. Consistant with the last few MTRs, you MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN solid and clearly marked bike rack for the storage.
