COWS Spring Rally — Appleton/Kimberly, WI

The host hotel block of 30 rooms has been arranged at the Hilton Garden Hotel Appleton/Kimberly, WI (720 Eisenhower Drive). Call 920-730-1900 and ask for group code WHEELS. The nightly cost is $85 for a king bed and $90 for 2 double beds (plus tax). The 20 king rooms and 10 double rooms will be blocked until April 15, 2014.The alternate hotel is the Quality Inn & Suites (761 Truman Street—walking distance from the host hotel). Call 920-788-4400 to reserve a double bed for $72 plus tax. 15 rooms have been set aside until May 1, 2015. Reference Couples on Wheels when reserving.
Both properties are accepting reservations immediately.
Routes TBD. Expect the usual Friday ice cream ride, Saturday short, medium and long routes, Sunday breakfast ride.
Wrangler Ride — Mercer, Wisconsin

For those who can attend on Friday, we will meet at 1:00 p.m. at the Cranberry Inn just north of Mercer on Hwy 51. We will plan a route of 20-25 miles. On Saturday, we will take part in the Lupine Junefest Bike Tour. Bikers need to register separately for this event through the Mercer Chamber of Commerce at www.mercercc.com 715-476-2389. On Sunday, we will meet at the Manitowish Waters Town Hall on Hwy 51 at 10:00 a.m.

Wrangler Ride — Waupaca, Wisconsin

Join us for a ride from our cabin on Marl Lake of the Chain O’Lakes in Waupaca to Saxeville and return. The ride is about 40 miles round trip. Stop at the Crossroads Cafe in Saxeville for a sandwich or ice cream then join us after the ride for a potluck BBQ at our cabin. We will provide a grilled lunch and ask that you bring a small dish to pass. Bring a swimsuit and a fine attitude.
We have a paddle board and a couple kayaks available or bring your own paddle board.
Please RSVP by email so we know how many riders to expect and can make sure Crossroads Cafe has enough ice cream on hand.
